Wow....my blog has gotten really boring!! I haven't taken any pictures, besides a few on my cell phone and I need to take the time to figure out how to upload those. Nothing too special is going on. We did have a little excitement the last couple of weeks...some good, some bad....some my fault, some not. First, (bad but not my fault)...as I was updating my quicken (which luckily I do almost daily)I discovered that some idiot whom we had written a check to back in Oct, took our account number off of the check, fabricated some fraud checks, and emptied our checking account!! Definitely not something fun to find. Luckily the bank was easy to work with. We got our money back the next day and they are working things out on their end. I finally got everything switched over to our new accounts, but it definitely took some work. It has definitely made me think twice about who I write a personal check to. Seriously....who can we trust in this world anymore! (just re-read this....ummmm I definitely use the word definitely too often!!) Next, Dave surprised me with a little trip to Vegas. He had his mom come to stay with the girls and we left for a little relaxation and a break from the world. Things have been a bit stressful for us lately so it was nice to leave it all behind for just one night. We enjoyed LOTS of good food and a nice break. Dave's mom stayed a few more days and it was fun having her around. My girls love their Grandma Margret! Last, (the one that is bad and my fault) a couple days ago I was THIS close to having my jeep impounded! I was already having a stressful, crazy day so when the motor-cop started following me CLOSELY for about a mile I new my day wasn't going to get any better! So, he finally pulled me over, came up to the window and asked, "I pulled you over because it appears that your registration is not up to date. Your plates say Mar 08...did you just forget to put on your stickers?" Ummmm "NO, I didn't realize they were past due (a little white lie)!" It wasn't a total lie....I had known at one point, TOTALLY FORGOT, and the nice officer had just reminded me! So I just figured I was going to get a nice BIG ticket, promise to get it registered that day or the next, and go on my way. So I was a bit surprised when he came back and told me he was 95% leaning towards impounding my car! He said in Utah if a car is over 3 months over they almost automatically impound the car! Freaking A....I'm an idiot!!! So he stood their stewing over his decision, while I started to plead! He peaked through my back window at my girls a few times and then finally told me that if it wasn't for my girls and the inconvenience of the kids he would have for sure impounded my car. Believe me....I thanked him about a thousand times!! Lets just say that I will never forget to register my car EVER AGAIN!! A little too much excitement for me! So things have been a little crazy, but overall good! The girls are growing and doing great! I will post an update about them soon.

oh boy! that is some craziness!
(minus the awesome trip to Vegas!)
While I agree it was nice of the cop to let you go...I still think it was kind of jerky of him to sit there and "debate in his mind" what he was going to do with you! Seriously...I sorta hate when the cops tell you what they could or should do to you. It's like they WANT you to beg, or cry or something. sheesh.
I'm glad he decided to go easy! :)
It always makes me wonder why cops make such a big deal about little stuff like that but someone could drive past them doing 20 over the speed limit and they don't blink an eye! Whoa that was a realy long run on sentence, ahah! I am glad he didn't impound your car.
Seriously!! I can't imagine the cop could have been out actually trying to solve important problems or arresting dangerous people. No, instead he's threatening sweet, productive mothers! What a joke. I'm glad he "let you off".
