SUCH A FUN CHRISTMAS...

Christmas day was a lot of fun with all of us together. My parents have always had the tradition that we get all showered and ready before we see what Santa brought us. Christmas is typically set up in the basement, so we would all sleep upstairs somewhere and then when we were all ready, we would go down the stairs one at a time (with my dad recording us) and see what Santa brought us! I remember when we were younger, my brothers would be so mad at all of us for kind of sleeping in because they knew we needed to get ready and couldn't wait to get down there! It's a fun tradition that I hope to continue with my little family!
We also enjoyed a fun phone call with my brother in Madagascar. He is serving the Lord faithfully and it was so fun to hear how much he has grown on his mission. There is nothing like a 2 year mission to help a boy grow into a man. He will be coming home the first week of April and we are so excited!
Christmas Eve at my grandma's house. It is tradition for Santa to come and bring the kids a little treat. Brynlee would wave to him from across the room, but did not want to sit on his lap.

This is Brynlee ready to head down to see what Santa brought her! She is such a busy body that it is hard to get her to hold still long enough to catch her smile!
This is Brynlee's new dolly that Mimi and Papa gave to her. She named her Suzi and she sucks her thumb!
Christmas Morning
Brynlee still in Christmas PJ's, but Halle is ready for the Christmas day!

Looks like so much fun. I love the idea of getting ready for the day before doing the ceremonials. I've contemplated doing that but I thought people would think I'm crazy, so I'm glad to hear that other people do it too. You've inspired me.

I'm living in NYC doing hygiene 5 days a week- its a little much though so I'm going back to 4 days in couple months. I love the office I'm at and I'm having alot of fun with it- Are you still doing hygiene at all? I think its great your whole family is doing dental- my brothers are pretty serious about dentistry as well, so we'll see what happens. funny how that works out =). What are you guys doing in St. George and have you been there long? If you ever come out this way- let us know! We're here for another couple years while Scott finishes school then who knows where.. he'll be doing a residency hopefully on the west somewhere- we miss it. Keep in touch and keep posting some pictures of those adorable kids of yours!

I'm so glad you guys had such a fun Christmas!! If you ask me, nothing beats a white Christmas. You look so cute and stylish in all these pictures!!! Brynlee must love playing babies, Ellie does too, I think it's a combination of the age and the new addition to the families.
