PRAISE TO THE MAN...

Oh how we will miss President Hinckley! What a wonderful man, and wonderful prophet! The other night when we found out, Dave and I were both being pretty quiet and solemn, and Brynlee said to Dave..."Daddy you kinda sad?" She said this as she was giving him a hug and rubbing his back. We told her how President Hinckley had died and that President Monson would be the new prophet. Here in Utah they have been paying tribute to him at every news cast, so today she saw some video of him at a previous conference. She looked at me with wide eyes and her mouth open and said "look mommy, President Hinckley not dead anymore!" I had to explain to her that it was in the past and that he had died and was in Heaven with Heavenly Father. She then said, "President Monson's the prophet now." Even from a two year old, you could see the twinkle in her eye and the excitement she had seeing him on TV! He touched so many lives and so many hearts and we will miss him sooo much!
