Life with two kids...

One month old

It's been a while since I posted. Here are just a few recent pictures of my girls. Halle is a really good baby, and Brynlee has been a really good big sister. Of course she has her jealousy moments, especially when I am feeding the baby. That seems to be the time that she gets a little destructive. It is pretty amazing how fast the house can get destroyed, but all is good. I just have to sit back and try not to let it bother me, because I know it can be cleaned up later. Luckily Brynlee has not tried to do anything to Halle, and hopefully that will continue. She is really soft with her and likes to hold her for about 30 seconds. She gives her nice hugs and soft kisses and likes to rub her head. There have been a couple of times that she gets a little rough with her, but it isn't on purpose and she feels really bad and cries afterwards. She has become a real daddy's girl since Halle was born and cries for her daddy at least once a day. (her daddy loves this) Overall she has been a really good big sister and I am so proud of her.

If any of you know Brynlee, you know that she is a little talker. She started talking early and seriously doesn't stop talking all day long. She also has an amazing memory and I am seriously shocked every day by the things that she remembers. Lately she has been using some pretty big words and phrases that have been cracking us up. Whenever we ask her if she did something she comes back with "I did" or "I sure did". The other day we were looking for something and she said "Actually it's in the car." It was so funny to hear her say actually. Another phrase she used yesterday was "It's probably in mommy's bathroom." The 'probably' is what had me laughing. She has also been calling me babe lately because that is what Dave calls me....it is pretty funny. I'm also kind of a good manners nazi so she faithfully says please, thank you, no thank you, and your welcome, which makes me so happy. I just hope she continues to be polite. Overall there is never a dull moment during the day because if she's not talking, she's singing. We sure love our little bubba!!
