
and I'm lovin it! I have used it only twice at the gym now, but love to see where my heart rate is and more importantly...how many calories I have burned! I did a spin class Sat morning and was pleased to find that I burned just over 700 calories during the class. There are a couple of spin teachers at my gym that are INSANE!!! You have to sign up an hour early to get a bike (thank goodness we live next door to the gym) and their classes are always between 65-70 min long. I come out of there drenched, and I have to say that it is ADDICTING!! I have been doing 3 classes a week and really love the way I am feeling. Nothing like a BIG stress release!
I purchased my Polar Heart Rate Monitor on ebay and they are definitely a hot item. It turned into a bid war every time I was trying to buy one. I have to say that I was pretty excited when I won the auction. Someone tried to outbid me with like 10 seconds left! There is a ton that this little watch can do and I am still learning. Now I just need to jump back on my healthy eating and try to lose, lose, lose!!

I never liked Spin. It is so freaking hard!
700 cals! Way to go Tiff! I need to figure out a way to start working out again. It totally is a major stress relief and you feel so good about yourself afterwards.

Sweet! A girl I used to work out with had one of these (or at least similar)...knowing all that info can be addicting! In a good way of course!

I know what you mean. Knowing my calories makes my workouts so much more rewarding. I'm totally addicted to my Garmin/heartrate monitor!
I completely agree with you!! Spin class is the most satisfying workout there is and is BEYOND addicting!! I pay a dollar each class to reserve my bike since I live about 15 mins from my gym!! Lucky you live so close!! I am soo freaking fat right now I should be doing a spin class twice a day! ha!!! I hope all is well with your thyroid!
I have a watch similar to that, I don't think mine is as fancy, but it gets the job done. They are great, so nice to have all the info right there on your wrist! I'm also trying to lose, man, this baby weight is just lingering! Good luck!
Tiff, that is amazing!! 700 calories! I don't think I've ever been able to work out that long! :) Congratulations! Spinning kicked my butt the two times I did it...I've never returned. haha. (that was...oh...5 years ago. haha)
