We recently returned from a fun weekend trip to Mesa and can you believe I didn't take a single picture. PATHETIC!! We went to visit our good friends Tricia and Butch who recently moved there from Kansas City. They were our parents away from home when we lived there and are the most kind hearted, giving people that I know. Every time we would leave their home in KC we would have enough food for a week. My parents and my brother's family were also in Mesa for a dental convention so we thought it would be a great time to drive over and see everyone. We drove over late on Thursday night, and came back late on Sunday. The girls did very well in the car, which I was worried about because we haven't done very many long car rides. The funny thing is though, Halle will not sleep in the car. On the way there it was late and she tossed and turned for a while, but couldn't get comfortable, so she just ended up eating crackers and watching baby einstein the rest of the way. On the way back she fell asleep about 30 minutes from home and it only lasted about 15 minutes! Silly girl! The good thing is that she was really good. She loves to watch movies, so as long as something was on and she was snacking on something, she was good. Man I love that little squirt! It was a quick but fun trip, and it was so fun to see family and friends! Thanks Butch and Tricia....we love you!
The girls recently had their 3 year and 1 year well baby check-ups and guess what....both my girls are tall! Brynlee is in the 85% for height and Halle the 75%. The doctor predicts that Brynlee will probably be about 5' 7'' when she is older. It looks like my girls are probably going to pass up their mom! That's all right with me, as long as my boys are tall too....if I get any boys! It will be fun to see how tall they end up.
Brynlee did something pretty funny today. As I was walking out to the mailbox the UPS man pulled up to my neighbors house and was going to drop off a package. I informed him that they were out of town and so the package didn't sit by their front door for several days I would hang on to it for them. (Hope that is ok Jeni....I just didn't want it to sit by your front door until Sunday). Anyway, I was out by the mailbox and I could hear Brynlee talking to the UPS man but couldn't hear what she was saying. He left and I got back inside and asked her what she had told him. She said, "I was talkin to the man and I told him that my witch costume was a piece of crap and we had to send it back." I just busted up laughing! She had seen the UPS man deliver her witch costume...which was a total piece of crap.....and I did send it back. She just wanted to inform the deliverer!

I love that she said piece of crap! My girls love to talk to our mail man also. They think he must really like them because he keeps coming back every day to talk to them..... so they think.
I am glad you had a fun trip. I can not believe your baby will watch TV I can not get Brytlee to even look at it yet.... I will have to keep trying.

That is hillarious!! I love that kids are so flippin honest! Bentley will tell people some of the most random things that at most times can be way embarrassing!! How exciting your girls will be tall....I would LOVE to be 5'7!! So far Bentley is estimated to be 6'5!! and Hudson is around 6'0!! So needless to say they will probs pass me up by the time they are 8!! I wonder if my girl will be tall too!! Im so grateful for a tall husband and a tall dad right now!!
i love that story!! silly comments like that make me think i should watch what i say--especially while driving!! hehe.
HILARIOUS! She is so funny!! My Ellie is tall too! At her 3 yr appt. the doc told me that she would most likely be 5'7"-5"9", it's so crazy! I'm pretty sure she'll be taller than me by 3rd grade...what I wouldn't give for long legs! I think it's funny that us short girls are having tall kids!
Hey Tiffany, here is the link to our blog, curtisdyerfamily.blogspot.com! Taylor is soo excited for Tuesday:)
I bet the UPS driver was cracking up! June loves our mailman, but Winnie is afraid of all black people right now, so she covers her eyes when she sees him. Hope you find a better witch costume before halloween!
That's so funny! I love the honesty from little kids!
Your family pictures are beautiful!! You guys look so happy!!!
Love the story of how Brynlee told that UPS man off... like it was his fault! So cute! I love your family pictures too! You've always been so pretty! No wonder you have such cute girls! :)
I love your blog Tiffany! Very cute, and so are the family pictures. I love what little kids say! They crack me up!

I am definitely going to order some diaper cases from you and spread the word you make them, they're darling! (I don't think you charge enough!)
Talk to you soon!
Hey Tiffany, I am uploading your photos now. I will send you a link.
