A BIT CRAZY...

Wow it has been a crazy week. I feel like I have been running around like crazy, and in and out of my car all day long, and by the end of the day I just want to sit on the couch and veg. When I think back though....I really haven't had that much to do. On Sunday they called me to be an Activity Day leader. Now this is the third time I have had this calling (once in KC and once in Idaho) so I must not have done a very good job the first two times, so Heavenly Father decided he would give me a 3rd chance! :) This calling is on top of my leading the music, so I now have 2 callings. I am trying to have a good attitude though, and I'm going to really try to do well at both! Anyway, we had activity day's this week, plus a meeting, plus Brynlee's school, plus getting my hair done, plus Brynlee's gymnastics, plus lunch with friends, plus two other activities on Monday and Tuesday nights that we hadn't planned on. Everything has been fun, but I am just not very good at this running around thing. I have learned that I don't handle stress very well. I get very easily flustered when I have both my girls myself and they aren't at their best behaviors. Freak....I only have two kids! What am I going to be like when I have more, and they are involved in more activities! I guess I better just chill out and get used to it.
We went to the park on Saturday for a few minutes and Halle was loving the swing. She was seriously squealing and laughing so hard the whole time. I told Dave we were going to have to come up with a swing in our house and she would probably stay there all day! She is such a happy kid and constantly cracks us up! I tried something new with Brynlee's hair this week. We were both excited to do something different, although when Brynlee got home from school she wanted me to take it out because it was hurting her head. If some of you are wondering why I am putting a picture of a very common hairdo on my blog, it is because Brynlee doesn't have much hair. She has never had a haircut and it just doesn't seem to want to grow. Right now it is a lot of different lengths, but I don't want to cut any of it off, for fear of it never growing back! :)

Cute HAIR! I've heard that the longer it takes for little girls hair to grow in, the better it will be when she gets older. I was bald until I was 2, but then I had a lot of hair later.

I totally hear you on not being good at the running around thing and not stressing!! I can only hope that things get better as your kids get older! And Brynlee's hair looks super cute! And her hair does look longer if you can do that to it. With or without a ton of hair she is so dang cute!!

I just saw that we have the same background... we must both have good taste or something. I love the hair-do. I might have to try it on my girls.
I know the feeling about running around, and I have to tell you... it gets worse, but you get used to it. It is funny how much you can get done in a day and how fast a day can go when you have a lot to do.

I do love days with there is nothing going on, I can relate to being in the car way too much! hey, I am still planning on tonight at 6:30, if that still works for you too. It will be fun! Brynlee's hair looks so cute, I will have to try that sometime, I understand about slow growing hair, Gretchen was like that forever, but she now has the thickest hair, so it does eventually grow in, and from what I hear, the less in the beginning the more later.

Tiff, as you know I also get easily flustered w/ the whole kid thing and I have no excuse, I have only one. So the next time you are standing there thinking you are the only one, think of me in Idaho looking at Brodee like, What! Your girls are getting so big and I love Bryn's hair do, that is so neat you can do that to it now. Did you see we buzzed Brod's hair off. Anyway, hang in there. lacee
