Can You Say Limber???

So I have been trying to catch Halle in her full on chinese splits, and was finally able to. Sorry about the nakey bumb picture!! This girl is seriously soooo limber. Brynlee is pretty limber herself, but Halle takes the cake! She loves to swim through the chinese splits to get to her belly and it cracks me up! They definitely didn't get this flexibility from me, but I REALLY hope that they keep it! It would have made all of my cheering and dancing days a lot easier!

Speaking of Halle, I am struggling with her BIG TIME the past few days. I am exhausted because she is sleeping terrible! Yesterday Dave let me go and get a pedicure and when I called him after I was done I could here her crying in the background. He said that the crying had started right after I left (she was suppose to be asleep) and hadn't stopped. I went home and she ended up crying for TWO HOURS straight! THIS IS NOT NORMAL FOR HALLE!!! There is definitely something going on because she has a runny nose and today has a fever. I'm not sure if it is her ears or teeth! No signs of them yet! Anyway, it has been rough and I really wish I knew how to help her.
Also, I need some advice. Do any of you have finicky eaters? I have also been REALLY struggling with her eating. (I promise she is a good baby! :) I can usually get her to take a couple of bites of her food, and then it begins. She just waits for me to get the spoon up to her mouth and she swats it away, making a huge mess! She also doesn't like anything sweet! No fruits, applesause etc. On occasion I can get her to eat some if I warm it up, or mix it with warm rice cereal.......again, that is on occasion. Every day is different. The one thing that she will ALWAYS open her mouth for is those little fruit or veggie puffs. It seems that if it is something she can pick up she is more interested in it. There are some days that I can only get her to drink like two bottles too! Aren't kids suppose to like to eat??? :) On those days she is up in the night wanting a bottle, so it is frustrating! Anyway, if this sounds familiar to some of you and you have any advice that would be great!

i didn't know anyone could move their legs in such a manner! that is so funny. about the eating thing. ash was and still is really picky. some days she hardly eats. i just think--lots of kids are that way-they survive. i hear :always offer the food and they can decide. she'll live and be healthy. that stinks that she'll wake up late and be hungry though. i don't know how to get around that. sorry i don't have better advice. hang in there.

Wow she is one flexible baby and those are such cute pictures. I love naked baby bathtub pics. Sorry she isn't wanting to eat...mine are that same way. Have you tried to puree some soup? There is usually a lot of flavor in there and if you can get it thin enough, she might take it. At times that is all mine will eat other than cheerios or puffs. Good luck...sounds like not a very fun patch...at least while you are bouncing her and trying to calm her down, you can look at your pretty pedicure. :)

That pose is really impressive!! I'm sorry about the eating thing. I have no words of wisdom, though. We all know, Vaughn, and when it comes to eating...like Daddy like daughter.

I have never seen a baby so flexible!!! That is crazy! I am sorry you are having baby troubles. It sounds like she must have something hurting her. I am sure in a couple of days she will be back to normal. Good luck, you are such a great mom!

Don't worry about it to much. Most of my kids hated baby food, but I think Lillia was the worst. Baby's will eat when they are hungry and if they are not, they wont. I was really worried about Evan when he was a baby. I took him to the doctor and he told me just what I told you. Just keep trying, one of these days she'll start. Lillia is a year now and still eats like a bird, but she is still growing and has plenty of energy, so no worries.

K so I wouldn't usually comment when blog stalking someone =) (I saw your blog on Nicole's (Holm), and you probably don't even remember who I am =) or maybe never knew =), but my baby is 11 months old and EXACTLY the same problems!! Doesn't like sweet, hence no fruits, hates baby foods, has never really ever liked to eat it and will only eat cheerios and gerber puffs. Recently I took her to her doctor and we have her on Acid Reflux medication (thanks from the advice of Cortnie (Pence) Biggelow). Anyways, some signs of acid reflux (from a lot of internet searching) is no appetite, frequent night wakings, gagging and throwing up (which my baby was doing a little bit). Anyways, my friends little boy also stopped eating and had no appetite, but never really threw up or gagged and he had what was called "silent" reflux. Anyways, to the point, we started the medicine last week and for the last 2 days my baby has eaten almost a whole jar of baby food with no fighting. No having to hold her hands down, or trick her into eating it. She just opened her mouth for me, which was AMAZING! It might be worth a try to see if it helps. Anyways, I hope things get better, and it does help to know other babies are having the EXACT same problems. Good Luck!

Impressive! That would for sure come in handy if she becomes a dancer/cheerleader. Kenedee would go in and out of being a picky eater so I don't know what to tell you there. I am feeling your pain with the sleep though, Kenedee is slowing coming around but it's been brutal! Hope Halle starts feeling better.

I hope you don't mind me leaving a comment. First of all, I can't beleive how that baby can move!!!
My baby is 3 1/2 months old. I am nursing and for a about the first couple of months she was just fussy. I tried not drinking pop, I tried the no chocolate thing, you know, everything they tell you not to eat when you are nursing, and nothing was helping. So I finally took her into the doctor because everytime she would eat, she would just throw it back up. The Doc. put her on a couple of different prescriptions for acid reflux, and I also had to cut all dairy out of my diet because she is lactose intollerant. So now, between the medicine and the no dairy she is doing soooo much better. She is finally happy, and she sleeps so good.
I hope that she gets better.
