Easter Weekend...

We had a great Easter this year. On a last minute wim, my mom brought my sister and 4 of her friends here for their spring break. They were so sick of the cold Idaho weather and wanted a little sunshine! Luckily we had a beautiful weekend and the girls were able to relax and get a little sun! We were very lucky that we got them a hotel room because they are hard to come by this time of year and it all worked out well. I was so happy to have my mom here for Easter. We had lots of yummie food, and a great Easter Sunday.

The girls looked so pretty in their Easter dresses, and it was so fun dressing them up! Unfortunately Brynlee was fighting an eye infection of some sort, so we only took her for the first hour. You can't see it very well in the pictures, but the poor kid looked like she was on drugs. She had dark red bags under her eyes. Brynlee was upset that she couldn't go to nursery and on the way home from church asked us several times if she could go walk around the temple. Dave had done this with her a few months ago and she really wanted to go back. So my mom and I went home and got dinner going, and Dave took her to the temple to walk around. That's were these pretty flower pictures are from!

Following our Sunday tradition.....Mimi and Dave took Brynlee to feed the ducks while I got ready for church.


This is a shot of Brynlee's easter basket. We hid it in the house and she went hunting for it on Sunday morning. Also that evening, my sister Sadie and her friends hid some plastic eggs in our backyard, and Brynlee had her own little easter egg hunt. She loved it, and was so excited. Dave used our video camera, so we didn't get any still shots! Overall it was a great holiday and a great Easter.
