Yummie Yummie...

This was Halle's first experience with rice cereal, and she seemed to enjoy herself. I love the first time you feed them and they are sucking on the spoon with a look like "what is going on here?" As you can see, she doesn't have a lot of hair, but DEFINITELY has more hair than Brynlee did at this stage. Maybe there will be hope for a ponytail before the age of two! : )

Halle is now 4 months old and continues to grow. At her recent 4 mo appointment the Dr. said she is moving right along. She weighs 13 lbs 13 oz which is average and is 23 & 3/4 inches long, which is just below the 50th percentile. She has round little cheeks, and chunky little thighs. For some reason she was pretty sad from the beginning of the appointment, all the way to the end. I think she was really tired and wanted to go to sleep and all the moving around was not letting that happen. Her crying reached a level that I had never heard when she got her shots! Poor little smooch head! She fell asleep not long after that though! I wish that it was just protocol for all offices to have two nurses come in and do the shots at the same time. That happened for us just one time and it was so nice.


Halle has rolled over a couple of times, but doesn't seem too interested yet! She really doesn't mind being on her tummy and will stay there for quite a while without fussing. She is a WAY smiley, happy baby and brings me so much JOY!
