Fun Family Night...

Last night for family night we decided to carve some pumpkins and make some cupcakes. Brynlee was excited and talked about it all day long. We waited a little too long to buy the pumpkins, so they aren't the best, but we had a good time together.

Brynlee wasn't real sure about sticking her hand inside the pumpkin. She would have Dave pull out the insides and then put it in her hand, and she would throw it in the garbage. RANDOM!

The pumpkins we carved were nothing to brag about. Dave made a frog from a stensil, and I just free handed a smiley face. Brynlee had a good time though and that is all that matters. She is wearing a cute little apron that her Grandma Nasal made for her.

We also made some cupcakes and Brynlee was not real interested in helping decorate them. She put a few sprinkles on, but she just wanted to EAT IT!!

YUMMY!!!!

Looks like you guys had tons of fun! Ellie also loves to eat most of what she decorates--oh well, it keeps them happy, right?!

Too much fun!! We waited til the last minute too and no pumpkins were to be found anywhere except at the nearest pumpkin patch. However, Vaughn & I refused to pay $20 for a pumpkin for one day. Hopefully Brooklynn won't be scarred for life bc she didn't get to do a pumpkin. Tell Brynlee hello from Brooklynn. She asks about her all the time.

I totally love that little apron! I'm just thinking of how many outfits could have been saved with one of those babies!
